Job description

Delaire Graff Restaurant is looking for Fixed term & Casual Waiters to provide excellent service to ensure great customer satisfaction. We are seeking individuals with patience, personality, and perseverance to thrive in this role.

Main responsibilities :

1. Greet guests at assigned tables and ensure each guest has received a menu and wine list.
2. Know all items on the menu, including basic ingredients and preparation methods.
3. Ensure tables are set with linens, silverware, and glasses.
4. Take accurate food and drinks orders using the Point-of-Sale system and deliver within specified time limits.
5. Ensure all orders are received promptly by bar and kitchen staff.
6. Clear all dirty cutlery and crockery once guests have finished using them.
7. Offer desserts and coffee to guests.
8. Bill the guest correctly.
9. Keep the restaurant area, fixtures, and fittings clean and hygienic.
10. Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
11. Ensure your uniform is clean and well-maintained.

Main requirements :

• Grade 12 qualification.
