- Develop and close customer leads for Power Solutions Projects, achieving sales goals to increase market share in Southern Africa.
- Responsible for sales of power solutions and auxiliary equipment.
- Provide technical and commercial proposals through direct liaison with domestic and international clients.
- Prepare technical and commercial offers and grow the order book.
- Visit various territories to hunt for power rental business opportunities.
- Build and sustain excellent customer relationships with electric power stakeholders.
- Contribute to the growth of the Power Solutions business by developing a robust opportunity pipeline.
- Gather market and competitive intelligence and participate in creating a sustainable business model.
- Conduct commercial and contractual reviews to ensure Power Solutions deliverables are maintained.
- Manage reporting activities effectively.
- Practice effective self-management, take ownership of performance, and set priorities.
Qualification, Experience, and Competencies
- Matric and Tertiary Qualification Degree / Diploma in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of two years of Technical Sales / Engineering experience in a Power environment.
- Five or more years of experience in Reciprocating Engines Power Solutions Projects of 5MW and above.
- Demonstrable product knowledge in Reciprocating Engine Generator Products, Microgrids, and auxiliary equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Southern Africa Market Conditions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Growth mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Dedication to safety, quality, and customer experience, with familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
- Excellent computer skills (Word Processing and Spreadsheets).
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
