A leading company in Gauteng is seeking a Financial Manager to oversee financial activities, ensuring compliance and promoting growth. The ideal candidate will have a CA(SA) qualification and over 10 years of experience in finance, particularly within the manufacturing or FMCG sectors. Responsibilities include budgeting, cash flow management, and risk mitigation, making this a pivotal role for the company's continued success.
Overall Purpose of the Job: To direct and oversee the financial activities of the company, including the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and forecasts in collaboration with Heads of Departments and the Group Executive, ensuring the company's financial position supports continued success.
This role will: manage daily operations impacting the company's financial health, analyze activities to promote growth, assess and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and the Companies Act. It also involves treasury and banking management.
Education (Formal Qualification Required): CA(SA) with SAICA membership.
Experience: Proven leadership skills, integrity, and extensive experience in accounting, regulatory compliance, tax planning, risk mitigation, and financial management. Experience in FMCG or manufacturing sectors, technology (SAP preferred), and strong communication skills are essential.
