Minimum Requirements / Qualifications and Experience
- 10 Years sales experience with 5 years in a managerial sales position within a structured sales environment.
- Tyre industry experience (minimum 5 years preferred).
- Proven experience in mentoring and coaching a sales team.
- Passion for transforming sales and service values to align with company culture.

- Data-driven approach to leverage and communicate information to improve core KPIs.
- Accountability to be honest and transparent in all communication with colleagues, regardless of personal ramifications.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
This position will be responsible for the following four key areas:
- Financial KPA: To exceed sales and new business targets within the financial year.
- Customer KPA: To retain a percentage of a good-paying customer base and increase the new customer base with growth targets.
- Operational KPA: To optimize end-user sales efficiency by a certain percentage of resource utilization.
- Learn & Grow KPA: To enable end-user sales executives to confidently retain and increase the customer base within the fiscal year end.
Responsibilities & Success Measures
- Grow sales year on year.
- Retain a percentage of good-paying customers.
- Grow market share.
- Manage and resolve all sales executive escalations (pricing, product, queries, applications).
Decision-Making Criteria
- Approve pricing discounts to a minimum of 7% gross profit.
- Authorize customer volume discount price lists and discounts on retreads.
