Job Title: Solar Electrical Engineer

Our client is a forward-thinking renewable energy company seeking a passionate and skilled Solar Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in the design, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge solar power systems that shape a sustainable future.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop electrical systems for residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar PV projects.
2. Create detailed electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and layout plans.
3. Perform system simulations and load calculations using industry-standard software (e.g., PVSyst, AutoCAD, HelioScope).
4. Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, IEEE, and local electrical codes and standards.
5. Collaborate with project managers, field engineers, and construction teams to ensure successful system deployment.
6. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess installation quality and troubleshoot issues.
7. Prepare documentation for permitting, interconnection, and commissioning processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in solar PV system design and engineering.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical theory, PV system components, and grid-tied solar systems.
4. Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope, and Excel.
5. Familiarity with battery storage and hybrid systems is a plus.
6. Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain one is a strong advantage.
7. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
