Job description

Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for leadership and an eye for detail?

Our client is seeking a Group Financial Manager who can take charge of the financial functions across 19 entities!

POSITION INFO :

Key Responsibilities :

  • Financial Oversight : Manage the full financial function for 19 entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial activities.
  • Team Leadership : Lead a dedicated accounting team of 5, including an , 2 Creditors Clerks, an Office Clerk, and an Practitioner.
  • Reporting : Prepare and present comprehensive Board and Stakeholder reports, Monthly Management Statements, and supervise the accounting team's processing activities.
  • Payroll & Tax : Oversee payroll system setup and processing, and manage the preparation, submission, and reconciliation of EMP201, EMP501, IRP5’s, ETI’s, and VAT. Handle SARS eFiling and SARS Easyfile.
  • Financial Management : Manage Construction Guarantees, insurance, and liaise with SARS, banks, auditors, and IT providers. Prepare audit files and engage in BEE scorecard activities.
  • Company Secretarial Duties : Ensure adherence to company secretarial responsibilities.

Requirements :

  • Educational Qualification : SAIPA or CIMA qualification or CIBA registration required.
  • Experience : Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience, with a background in the Construction and Property Development industry being advantageous.
  • Tax Expertise : Tax Practitioner registration or experience in a tax practitioner role.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in the BuildSmart computer package is essential.
  • Skills : Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Must be diligent, accountable, and passionate about delivering high-quality work.
