Job Responsibilities
- Capture and update crime information in databases, compile and distribute advanced crime reports and statistics, and perform general office administration.
- Train and mentor forensic data administrators at all levels.
- Manage basic office administration tasks for forensic data administrators.
- Conduct performance appraisals for SR forensic data administrators.
- Distribute workloads among forensic data administrators.
- Analyze crime data and prepare crime and risk analysis reports.
- Distribute crime reports and statistics.
- Support investigators, managers, and clients regarding crime information.
- Respond to requests and queries promptly.
- Monitor and supervise forensic data administrators.
- Manage client service level agreements and expectations.
- Interpret data from various systems and evaluate information for possible crimes.
- Apply analytical tools and methods to detect crime trends.
- Analyze data sets to identify reasonable doubts for disclosure to stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, including charts and graphics, to explain findings related to suspected or actual crimes.
- Present findings to clients and compile expert reports.
- Represent the company/division at crime forums and meetings with clients.
- Assist in the investigation, arrest, and prosecution of suspects.
- Participate in workshops and training sessions.
- Provide expert testimony at judicial hearings.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in criminology, police science, statistics, or research methodology.
- Proficiency in MS Office (advanced level).
- Experience in report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Dependable, meticulous, and independent worker.
- Strong analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and supervise others.
- Ability to pass assessments in attention to detail, data entry, aptitude, copy typing, and instruction comprehension.
- Relevant working experience in law enforcement, intelligence, risk management, or crime information environment.
- 2-4 years’ experience in data capturing.
- 1-5 years’ experience in forensic data analysis.
- 2-4 years’ experience in crime statistical reporting.
- Clean criminal and ITC record (subject to polygraph and background check).
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and systems is an advantage.
- Leadership, emotional intelligence, resilience, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.
