An independent school in Tzaneen is seeking an Educational Support Teacher for Grades 4-7. The ideal candidate must have a teaching qualification, strong classroom management skills, and experience with children needing educational support. Responsibilities include adapting teaching methods, providing remedial support, and engaging in extracurricular activities. Applications close on 26 September 2025.
Unicorn Preparatory School is an independent, Christian, English-medium day school catering for boys and girls from Grade R to Grade 7. The school is a member of the Independent Schools Association of South Africa, ISASA and as such, is quality assured by both IQAA and UMALUSI. It is situated in the sub-tropical region of Tzaneen in Limpopo province.
Unicorn Preparatory School invites applications for the abovementioned position which will be available from 01 January 2026.
Local and National applications for a Grade 4-7 Educational Support Teacher, are invited. The candidate must be willing to work with children aged 9-14 who require educational support. This includes offering support in all recognised learning barriers as well as reading and scribing to pupils who have been recognised as needing extra support for tests and exams.
