This role will be part of our South Africa team and our office is based in Johannesburg.This is a senior and strategic role that focuses on building, strengthening, and managing ACCA's relationships with education providers, universities, and key learning institutions across South Africa and the broader Southern Africa region.

The successful candidate will work closely with Business Relationship Managers and Executives to deliver high-impact, sustainable partnerships that support recruitment, retention, and progression of ACCA students in line with our strategic growth and brand objectives.The JobLead the development and execution of a strategic engagement plan for education partnerships to deliver agreed KPIs and outcomesIdentify and drive opportunities for business growth through mutually beneficial education partnershipsWork with global colleagues to pursue ACCA qualification recognition within national education and qualification frameworksPrioritise education partnerships based on market potential and alignment with ACCA's strategy across Southern Africa and cross-border regionsBuild and manage multi-level relationship plans with key education stakeholders to drive stakeholder satisfaction and ACCA recognitionSupport our Remotely Managed Markets (RMMs) in Southern Africa, enhancing relationships with universities, employers, regulators, government departments, and sector forumsLead and inspire a team of Business Relationship Managers to deliver ACCA's strategic outputs across the regionFacilitate high-value connections between partners and the broader ACCA ecosystem by working collaboratively across internal teamsAct as a champion for ACCA's global education agenda, ensuring the consistent implementation of global solutions and leveraging best practice across partnersEngage national bodies and regulatory authorities to support the development and recognition of local qualificationsEnsure education partners are prepared for changes to ACCA's qualifications, products, and services.The PersonWe're looking for a strategic relationship builder with a solid foundation in education and business development, ideally within the professional services or education sectors.The ideal candidate will possess the following : A strong background in education and skills development, particularly in the pedagogy of learningProven experience in business development and relationship management, preferably in an education-focused environmentSolid understanding of the financial education landscape and professional qualification pathwaysKnowledge of ACCA's qualifications, products, and services or similar international professional bodiesThe ability to lead and develop a community of business relationship professionals.Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships at senior and board levelExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsStrong negotiation, networking, and influencing abilitiesA proactive, self-motivated approach with the capacity to manage competing priorities and meet ambitious targetsA global mindset, with international experience or perspective considered an advantageA sound understanding of the Higher Education Institution (HEI) landscape in South AfricaA professional accountancy qualification is an added advantage.We strive to create an environment where you can prioritise your wellbeing and offer a competitive benefits package to help you do this.
