Job summary

Placements24 and its client in Nelspruit seek an experienced Educational Consultant specializing in policy and strategy. The hybrid role combines on-site engagements with remote research, analysis and report writing to shape educational policy and strategic reforms across Mpumalanga and beyond.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s or PhD in Education Policy or related field, 7+ years of experience advising governments or educational bodies, and strong analytical and communication skills to

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Education Policy, Educational Leadership, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in educational policy analysis, strategic planning, or consulting.
• Proven track record of advising government agencies or educational institutions.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and facilitation.
• Ability to manage complex projects and work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of educational policies, systems, and reforms.
• Develop strategic plans and policy recommendations for educational institutions and stakeholders.
• Advise clients on curriculum development, teacher training, and educational technology integration.
• Facilitate workshops and consultations with policymakers, educators, and community members.
• Research and disseminate findings on emerging educational trends and best practices.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, proposals, and presentations for clients.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented policies and strategies.
• Contribute to business development and proposal writing efforts.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
