Placements24 in East London is seeking an Educational Content Developer to design, develop and curate engaging learning materials across subjects and age groups. Based in East London, you will collaborate with SMEs and instructional designers to deliver high-quality content and assessments that align with learning objectives.

A strong foundation in pedagogical principles and multimedia production is required to create impactful learning experiences for students in the Eastern Cape and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing educational content for K-12 or higher education.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and curriculum development.
• Proficiency with content creation tools and e-learning authoring software.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality educational content, including lesson plans, study guides, interactive modules, and assessments.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to ensure content accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness.
• Create engaging multimedia assets, such as videos, graphics, and animations, to enhance learning experiences.
• Review and revise existing educational materials to ensure they are current, relevant, and aligned with learning objectives.
• Manage content projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
