Your Growth

You will work in our Johannesburg office as part of our EEMA EA team, collaborating with approximately 1 consulting and non-consulting colleagues.

Your Role

You will support Firm Leadership in our Africa office and report to the Senior Manager of Administration and Executive Assistants for EEMA, Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Your Impact

You will work closely with your assigned Partners as an Executive Assistant to organize and optimize their time, manage complex schedules, and coordinate travel logistics.

You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing major projects.

This includes planning client and internal meetings, conference calls, Zoom meetings, conferences/events, and meals.

You will collaborate with clients, administrative contacts, and department members to create a smooth workflow, solicit assistance as needed, and ensure follow-through.

You will ensure timely actions and that deadlines are met, acting as a liaison to ensure departments provide support efficiently.

Key responsibilities include extensive experience in complex diary management across multiple time zones, planning travel arrangements, producing correspondence and documents under tight deadlines, and monitoring emails.

You will proactively manage calls and correspondence, liaising with clients and teams, and providing backup support for colleagues during absences.

Administrative duties include filing, record maintenance, expense management, timesheets, invoicing, etc.

Your Qualifications and Skills

  1. Solid experience working at a senior level in a fast-paced professional environment (preferably corporate).
  2. Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills.
  3. Degree level and/or secretarial qualification preferred.
  4. Proven organizational skills with complex diary management at a senior level.
  5. Ability to handle multiple deadlines with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  6. Capacity to switch between detailed tasks and the bigger picture.
  7. Initiative and solutions-oriented mindset, thinking creatively to solve problems.
  8. Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality client service.
