Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Creating sales invoices from the operating software.
  2. Managing the timely flow of files being passed for billing (invoices and pro-formas), ensuring accuracy and compliance standards are maintained.
  3. Working with clients and colleagues in Operations and Account Management to ensure delivery of efficiency and service excellence.
  4. Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and responding to enquiries within specified time frames.
  5. Building and developing excellent working relations with key clients and colleagues.
  6. Providing supporting documentation for clients and auditors.
  7. Proactively reviewing pending billing to ensure invoices are raised promptly.
  8. Complying with information security regulations, principles, and obligations in line with ISO standards, emphasizing continuous learning as technology evolves.
  9. Maintaining software and data encryption in accordance with compliance and data protection laws globally, ensuring data safety and accountability.
  10. Demonstrating commitment to Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and increasing recycling efforts.
  11. Sharing ideas with your sustainability champion to help reduce your office's carbon footprint.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Finance or Accounting qualification / part qualification.
  • Knowledge of billing processes and operational functions.
  • Understanding of the commercial drivers and operations of a global business.
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures and accounting software (X3 preferred but not essential).
  • Experience working with multiple currencies (1-3 years preferred), or similar relevant experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of sales tax regulations (VAT, GST, etc.).
