Fives Group is a globally renowned industrial engineering company operating in more than 30 countries, designing and supplying machines, process equipment, and production lines for sectors including aluminium, steel, glass, automotive, aerospace, logistics, cement, minerals, energy, and sugar.

The Aluminium business line specializes in the design and supply of process equipment and managing complete installations in the Primary Aluminium industry, including Carbon, Reduction, and Casthouse sectors.

Fives provides solutions and services that meet customer needs in performance, quality, and environmental impact.

Primary Purpose :

The Key Account Manager is responsible for generating new opportunities and closing sales of projects, including turnkey solutions, new machines, or services such as audits, to achieve sales and EBITDA targets. The role also involves actively pursuing new customers for diversification.

Accountability :
  • Create a business development roadmap with potential customers and promote Fives' offerings.
  • Forecast market order intake supporting the roadmap.
  • Build strong customer relationships through regular visits, understanding customer needs, and business follow-up.
  • Represent the customer internally within Fives.
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic deals.
  • Monitor competition and market offerings.
  • Report regularly to the manager and update CRM (Salesforce).
  • Prepare costing, technical and commercial offers, and conduct audits.
  • Follow up on offers and reports.
Education and Experience :

At least a National Diploma (N.Dip.) in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering—this is non-negotiable. Technical or project management qualifications are advantageous. A minimum of five years' customer-facing experience in a heavy industrial environment is required. Knowledge of Fives ECL / Solios Equipment and proven customer relations are essential.
