Qualifications and Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering (advantageous)
  • 2-3 years experience in planning, scheduling, and balancing operational workload
  • Experience in warehouse and transport industries
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting

  • Strong planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and monitoring skills
  • Ability to meet and manage customer expectations
  • Good interpersonal and client relationship skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in fashion and retail environments (advantageous)

Main Purpose of the Role

This role involves coordinating, planning, and controlling daily, weekly, and monthly tasks within a Distribution Center, including expediting, scheduling, and resource balancing to meet internal and external requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Understand customer and their customer requirements, develop strong relationships, and ensure contractual SLAs & KPIs are met.
  2. Ensure adherence to HSE compliance and operational tasks.
  3. Manage daily outbound schedules, compare with available resources, and optimize warehouse execution plans.
  4. Communicate proactively with stakeholders, manage deviations, and create alternatives for challenges.
  5. Implement job rotation for team flexibility and growth.
  6. Review operational data regularly to identify and implement improvements.
