Position Overview

The Salesforce System Admin Associate will be part of Vera's growing Systems team.

The Admin Associate will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of new features in Vera's internal Salesforce system and work with managed package products.

The Admin Associate should have a desire to learn new technologies and processes, develop new skills, and serve internal stakeholders.

The Admin Associate should have a strong work ethic, be driven, work independently, and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Manage Vera's internal Salesforce system and other tools, making improvements for optimal effectiveness and user experience.
  2. Participate in planning and analyzing business requirements for system enhancements.
  3. Manage Salesforce custom apps and packages.
  4. Create and deliver training materials and support documentation.
  5. Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and apply solutions.
  6. Manage user accounts on internal tools like Salesforce, Google Suite, Slack, etc.
  7. Maintain roles, profiles, and hierarchies.
  8. Develop custom solutions using declarative automation on Salesforce.
  9. Participate in QA testing and test suite creation.
  10. Assist with release management tasks, including sandbox creation and deployment.
  11. Perform data quality audits and system security checks.
  12. Communicate technical changes and recommendations clearly to users.
  13. Perform data migration tasks using ETL tools.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science.
  • At least 2 years of Salesforce experience.
Skills Required
  • Knowledge of Salesforce administration, data management, custom development, and reporting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Strong collaboration skills with internal teams.
  • Interest in social service work or international development.
  • Experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst is a plus.
