Introduction

The Executive Legal Collections & Recoveries will be responsible for designing, formulating, and implementing the operational and strategic aspects of Legal Collections & Recoveries to align with the company's overall strategy.

Ensure business growth by achieving agreed performance targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

Main Purpose of the Role

Provide executive oversight of preferred legal entity service providers, MBD Incorporated and MVR Incorporated, specifically over the Legal Collections & Recoveries teams.

Meet stipulated financial targets for the Legal Collections & Recoveries business.

Develop an optimized legal process that achieves defined litigation milestones efficiently in terms of cost and time.

Monitor primary collection and recovery key performance metrics across a balanced scorecard that includes people, process, financial, and stakeholder metrics.

Align with strategic design and intent alongside the Executive: Principal & RTC: Portfolio Management.

Collaborate on joint business objectives with Risk, Client Support, Information Technology, and Capsol Account Management System within defined service levels.

Manage an automated litigation workflow solution to optimize production outcomes.

Articulate and oversee a reputation risk policy framework ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory standards and group thresholds.

Act as a consummate stakeholder manager, capable of fostering internal and external collaboration and alignment.

Optimize the Legal Collections & Recoveries ecosystem to support strategic and tactical objectives of Principal, RTC, and Agencies.

Promote and oversee workflow solutions that support our client value proposition and new business origination.

Lead and inspire a large, professional team.

Enhance operational productivity to support strategic and tactical goals.

  • Lead the Principal Portfolio Strategy and Vision through functional and operational leadership.
  • Continuously improve litigation operations and business processes.
  • Practice sound financial management in operations.
  • Manage business risk and stakeholder relationships within Legal Portfolio Operations.
  • Ensure optimal people management within the Legal Portfolio.
  • Oversee operations and legal processes.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, or Law, plus a Business Leadership/Management qualification.

Minimum of 10 years' experience, with at least 7 in the legal collections industry and 5 at an executive management level in a similar environment.
