Job Description: Administrator/Sales


The Administrator/Sales is responsible for leading and managing a sales team while overseeing administrative functions to ensure smooth operations. This role combines leadership of sales efforts with effective administrative support, aiming to drive team performance, streamline processes, and optimize overall sales operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Team Leadership & Management:
    1. Lead, motivate, and manage a sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    2. Set clear goals and performance metrics for the sales team, and monitor progress regularly.
    3. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to sales team members to enhance their sales skills and productivity.
    4. Organize regular sales meetings to review performance, discuss challenges, and set future goals.
    5. Foster a positive team environment that promotes collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
    6. Work with sales team members to proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.
    7. Monitor the performance of client accounts, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
    8. Resolve any client issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Administrative Support:
    1. Oversee day-to-day administrative operations within the sales department, including maintaining accurate sales records and documentation.
    2. Manage the processing of sales orders, invoicing, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of sales metrics.
    3. Monitor and maintain the CRM system, ensuring up-to-date client information and sales activity.
    4. Create and manage reports for senior management, providing insights into sales performance, trends, and opportunities.
  3. Sales Process Optimization:
    1. Streamline and improve sales workflows and processes to increase team efficiency and reduce administrative overhead.
    2. Ensure all sales team members follow company protocols for tracking leads, closing sales, and managing client communications.
  4. Reporting & Analysis:
    1. Track and analyze sales performance data, providing regular reports and feedback to senior management.
    2. Identify trends, areas for improvement, and new opportunities based on sales data.
    3. Monitor sales KPIs, such as conversion rates, lead generation, and team productivity.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma in Administration or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in sales management or sales administration, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to manage and motivate a sales team, with a focus on achieving team and individual goals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead and present to senior management and clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
