One of our clients is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer Associate who is focused on the design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of servers, networks, and server-based systems. These individuals will handle planning and project coordination related to client IT initiatives/projects.
Job Requirements
- Must have 5+ years of work experience in a related IT position
- Experience with:
- Windows server configuration and maintenance
- Active Directory and Group Policy configuration and support
- Exchange configuration and support
- Managed anti-virus configuration and support
- Server backup administration and support
- Firewall and VPN configuration, maintenance, and support
- SQL Server configuration, maintenance, and support
- Virtualization (VMWare or Hyper-V)
- Complete a Connectwise University Major
- Study for and pass at least one technical certification exam per year

Essential Duties
- Act as a Technology Success Manager for clients
- Coordinate client service activities for medium and larger clients
- Participate in quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
- Design and implement network solutions: LAN, WAN, routers, firewalls, and security
- Design and implement hosted and cloud solutions tailored to client requirements
- Develop disaster recovery solutions
- Support virtualization technologies
- Administer and maintain remote monitoring solutions like CW Automate
- Respond to client support requests and escalations
- Handle escalated server, network, and desktop issues
- Contribute to projects led by the Implementation and On-boarding team
- Develop, maintain, and review system documentation
- Communicate with customers about incidents, changes, and outages
- Manage tickets created due to alerts in CW Automate
- Review CW Automate alerts, performance data, and configurations
- Perform server checkups using CW Automate and manual reviews
- Participate in on-call rotation for off-hours support
- Log all work in ConnectWise as service tickets
