Our Client in the utilities / metering services sector is seeking a Client Success Lead to manage and grow the Clients' portfolio.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12; tertiary qualification (BCom) advantageous
- Five years of experience in the utility industry is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Responsibilities
- Retain and grow the client base through additional services or managing more buildings
- Drive operational outcomes to exceed client expectations
- Build professional relationships with key stakeholders in conjunction with the Client Success Lead
- Maintain the master client contact list
- Attend and document utility meetings, including distributing agendas
- Participate in ad hoc meetings with landlords, tenants, utility consultants, and workshops
- Engage with clients to determine requirements and present solutions, services, and technologies
- Approve monthly billing and manage the billing process
- Ensure quality control in service delivery
- Oversee billing processes handled by Utility Administrators
- Report on recoveries and building-related issues
- Address tenant queries promptly
- Supervise field services and site work, including job cards, quotes, and installations
- Handle escalated and high-impact queries
- Assist clients with recovery ratios and expense management
- Manage budgets and accruals related to utility financial services
- Oversee portfolio clean-up activities
- Provide global reporting on portfolio performance
- Manage internal staff, including Utility Administrators
- Obtain council account approvals where applicable
