Our busy all-day coffee shop in the southern suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a dedicated and experienced General Manager. Position: General Manager

Location: Southern Suburbs, Cape Town

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth functionality.
  2. Lead and mentor staff across all departments, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve overall service and customer satisfaction.
  4. Manage financials, including budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  5. Ensure compliance with Halaal standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  6. Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  7. Address any venue-related issues promptly and effectively.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  1. Maintain high standards of overall service and guest satisfaction.
  2. Achieve financial targets and manage budgets efficiently.
  3. Ensure staff compliance with Halaal standards, health and safety protocols.
  4. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  5. Successfully manage and improve operational efficiency.
  6. Ensure timely and effective resolution of any venue-related issues.
Qualifications
  1. Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in a Halaal environment.
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. High standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
  5. Ability to handle high-pressure environments with ease.
  6. A degree in hospitality management or related field is a plus.
