Our client based in Wetton is seeking a Junior Construction Site Project Manager with 6 years of technical experience and 4 years of managerial experience to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Employment Type: Permanent
  2. Sector: Projects
  3. Basic Salary: Market Related
  4. Start Date: Immediate
  5. Requirements:
  • BTech / BSc in Civil Engineering / Construction Management
  • 6 years technical experience and 4 years managerial experience
  • SACPCMP Construction Management registration (advantageous)
  • Thorough understanding of JBCC and NEC contracts
  • Meticulous in document management and process implementation
  • High degree of ethics and alignment with company values
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with professionals, clients, subcontractors, and staff
  • Strong leadership qualities
Responsibilities
  1. Manage multiple projects valued between 2 and 50 million rand
  2. Use CCS software for generating and updating project programs
  3. Compile and submit progress reports
  4. Manage and oversee site activities
  5. Supervise site management teams including OHS, Site Agents, Site Engineers, and Foremen
  6. Ensure project quality and maintain QA documentation
  7. Represent the company in meetings
  8. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for best value
  9. Arrange and approve material requests
  10. Ensure all sites are safe for work
  11. Handle contractual and legislative correspondence promptly
  12. Monitor and ensure financial performance
Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
