As the BBBEE Relationship Manager at BEE, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance, resolving client issues, driving customer satisfaction and retention, whilst reaching cross-selling targets. Success is measured in client satisfaction, retention, growth, and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients. Be the main contact person and ensure client satisfaction and support. Grow client accounts by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Assist in creating new business opportunities for our ESD and Skills teams by understanding each client's transformation goals. Stay updated on industry trends, B-BBEE laws, and competitor activities. Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Cross-selling: Identify potential cross-selling opportunities within existing clients. Develop relationships to understand client needs. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on targeted campaigns. Provide product knowledge and recommendations. Track and report on cross-selling metrics.
- Market Understanding: Gather market intelligence and feedback to improve our solutions. Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 3 years of client relationship management experience
- MDP qualification is advantageous
- Good understanding of B-BBEE and related regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with strong service orientation
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Time management skills and ability to handle multiple clients
- Experience with SaaS platforms is preferred
- Proven track record of achieving client retention and growth targets
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; higher qualifications are a plus
- Willingness to travel as needed
