Hire Resolve’s Client is urgently looking for an experienced Principal Mining Engineer Underground to join their corporate office in Gauteng!

Responsibilities:

• Lead underground mining engineering strategies and influence key business decisions.
• Act as Competent Person for Reserve Estimates and JORC-compliant reporting.
• Drive Life of Asset plans, budgets, and mine planning optimization.
• Champion technical reviews, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate across teams to align mining projects with operational goals.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Mining Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in underground mining across operations and major project studies.
• Professional registration
• Proven track record in delivering advanced mining studies, extensive expertise in long-term planning and underground mine design.
• Proficiency in mining software applications, preferably Deswik.
