Qualifications
- 2+ years as a Network/Infrastructure Engineer and 5+ years in IT Support.
- Experience in troubleshooting and configuring networks and systems.

- Manage all IT Infrastructure operations in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Regional Offices, not limited to local office
- Be available in providing solutions and advice and issue resolution to IT Personnel who support physical infrastructure, clients facing branches throughout Southern Africa
- Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of all networks related WAN / LAN / WLAN networks
- Voice Telephony software and hardware (Current VOIP (Asterisk 3CX, Paton, supporting 120 seats)

- Disaster Recovery policy and programme, mitigation of downtime for network and critical IT Systems
- Regular reports on key metrics relating to network stability, availability, analysis on problems as and when they occur
- Website and Intranet Management, Configurations
- Helpdesk management with 24 / 7 availability
- Line Management
- Liaise with third party hardware and software suppliers, ensuring suppliers remain accountable and provide services as contracted by establishing measurable to gauge performance.
- Cybersecurity
- Supports all users with desktop, printer and software issues that are escalated to Tier 3
- Ensure all PCs have the latest software, appropriate server access and security, logged and tracked in the helpdesk
- Responsible for overall IT infrastructure, health and maintenance
- Sets up server monitoring and reporting system
- Sets up and monitors system backup mechanisms with Veeam
- Maintain and improve the Disaster Recovery Plan
- Implements necessary security & systems policies

- Maintain firewalls and security infrastructure
- Asset management - records location, cost & status of all technology-related resources
- Ensure all hardware and software are up to date, and in suitable working conditions.
- Ensures up-to-date use of all software licenses in Microsoft processes to ensure compliance
- Purchasing of all IT-related equipment.
- Plans, manage & co-ordinate all IT projects and ensure projects are delivered
Requirements
- 2 years' experience as a Network / infrastructure engineer
- 5 years' experience as IT Support and administration
- Experience in network infrastructure
- Experience in local, wide area networks
- System Configurations, setup, troubleshooting, planning and design, implementation and user support
- Installation and support of Microsoft Server Technologies, Microsoft and Linux O / S
- Support in telecommunications equipment, Paton, design, and servers (VOIP), (AV)
