Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Regional Manager to oversee operations within their warehousing, cleaning,and security divisions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing large teams and coordinating services across multiple sites. You will be responsible for ensuring that all operational processes run smoothly, focusing on customer satisfaction, performance, and profitability. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in a keyaccounts or similar management role in warehousing, cleaning, or security.
Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

? Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage a team of site managers and staff in warehousing, cleaning, and security functions. Provide coaching and support to ensure high performance, employee development, and a positive work culture.
? Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple facilities across the region, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and according to contract specifications. Ensure the smooth running of warehouse activities, cleaning schedules, and security protocols.
? Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Ensure that customer requirements are met and exceeded. Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues efficiently.
? Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all operations adhere to health and safety regulations, providing a safe environment for all employees and clients. Regularly conduct audits to ensure compliance.
? Budget & Cost Management: Oversee regional budgets, managing operational costs and maximizing profitability. Ensure that resources are used efficiently and within budgetary constraints.
? Strategic Planning & Reporting: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational [URL Removed] regular reports on performance metrics, including KPIs, and present them to senior management.
? Quality Control: Ensure that cleaning and security standards are maintained across all sites. Conduct regular siteinspections and audits to monitor service quality.
? Problem Solving: Address operational challenges quickly and effectively, providing solutions that minimize downtime or service disruption.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Required Qualifications, Experience Skills:
? Tertiary qualification
? Proven experience in a Regional Manager, Key Accounts Manager, or similar senior operational role.
? Strong background in warehousing, cleaning services, and/or security management (preferably across multiple sites).
? Experience managing teams, including providing leadership, coaching, and developing performance.
? Knowledge of operational processes, health and safety regulations, and quality standards in warehousing, cleaning, and security sectors.
? Ability to manage budgets, monitor costs, and achieve financial goals.
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
? Problem-solving ability, with a proactive and hands-on approach to addressing issues as they arise.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software or other relevant tools.
? Previous experience managing multiple sites or regions.
? Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in warehousing, cleaning, and security services.
