Job description

This role offers the flexibility of working remotely while supporting key patch management initiatives for a dynamic IT environment. If you have strong experience in Windows patching, SCCM, Intune, and vulnerability management, we want to hear from you!

The Company :

USA-based private equity and venture capital company.

Responsibilities :

Manage and support application patching and packaging processes.

Oversee and ensure compliance with Windows and Microsoft patching for system security.

Utilize SCCM and Intune for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting patching activities.

Collaborate with security and IT teams to continuously improve patch management strategies.

Diagnose and resolve issues related to failed patches, system conflicts, and related errors.

Ensure compliance with security policies and address vulnerability remediation requirements.

Minimum Requirements :

Proven experience with SCCM and Intune.

Expertise in the full lifecycle of application patching and packaging, with hands-on experience in managing Windows patching processes (including Microsoft WuFB updates).

Deep understanding of vulnerability management and patch remediation strategies.

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, patch deployment, and reporting.

Strong reporting and analytics skills, capable of extracting and analyzing patching data using tools such as Power BI or Excel.

Experience with NinjaOne or other similar RMM tools for remote patch management and monitoring.

Familiarity with PatchMyPC or similar tools for patching third-party applications.

CANDIDATES MUST BE BASED IN SOUTH AFRICA.
