ELECTRICIAN QUALIFIED (Wireman License Required)/EAST LONDON – Our client is seeking a skilled and certified 3-Phase Electrician with a valid Wireman License to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing three-phase electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial environments. This role requires a professional who is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid Wireman License

Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience working with 3-phase electrical systems.

Qualified Electrician Trade Test (Red Seal).

Strong understanding of SANS regulations and local electrical codes.

Ability to work with power tools, test instruments, and diagnostic equipment.

Valid driver’s license

Physically fit and able to work in various environments (heights, confined spaces, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and commission 3-phase electrical systems and components.

Perform electrical maintenance and fault-finding on new and existing installations.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards (e.g., SANS 10142).

Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out.

Liaise with clients and project managers to ensure project goals are met.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Adhere to occupational health and safety procedures and company policies.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Experience in industrial or commercial installations.

Certificate of Compliance (CoC) issuing experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to mentor apprentices or junior electricians.

Proficient in completing job cards, reports, and electronic documentation.
