The company focuses on Mining, Industrial, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas, and Renewable sectors, offering services in Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Control and Instrumentation, Platework, and Piping projects.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Piping Superintendent position at Advent One Group.

The Piping Superintendent will be responsible for supervising piping construction activities, ensuring construction safety, conducting inspections, and overseeing the pipe installation process.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to lead and manage construction teams effectively

Understanding of piping systems and components

Experience in conducting quality inspections and ensuring compliance

Occupational safety + HIRA & risk mitigation training

Commissioning experience preferred

Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint

Strong commitment to HSE & quality workmanship

Ability to read, interpret & execute engineering drawings (orthographic, isometric, process & instrumentation P&ID's)

Timely delivery of work is mandatory

Shutdown / Outage / Turnaround experience preferred

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Requirements

Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent (N4 / N5 / N6)

At least 5 years of experience in mining, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries

Ability to relocate inter-provincially for various projects

Under 60 years of age, with medical fitness assessment

Legal liability training (OHAct, Construction Regs, MHSAct)

Own transport
