FIRST RESORTS FIRST GROUP AND HOTEL MANAGEMENT

FRONT OFFICE MANAGER / DUTY MANAGER

La Cote d`Azur Timeshare Resort has a position available for a dynamic Front Office Manager / Duty Manager. If you are super confident, love people, friendly and outgoing, can work under pressure and multi-task and are prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, this is the perfect career opportunity for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and monitor activities of all staff in the Front Office Department, making sure they adhere to the standards of excellence required.
  • Work closely with Accountant, Housekeeping and Maintenance Departments.
  • Act as Manager on Duty for the resort, dealing with complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requirements and any other issues that may arise.
  • Control cash procedures, time keeping and schedules at all times.
  • Monitor stock control and purchasing.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Relevant Tertiary Education, High School diploma, General Education Degree or international equivalent required.
  • 5 years previous Front Office experience in supervisory / Management capacity in a luxury property required.
  • English and Afrikaans language is mandatory and the ability to speak, read and write clearly.
  • Must be able to listen to, read and / or write instructions, memos, short correspondences and messages.
  • Extensive Opera Cloud experience a must.
  • Microsoft Office Suite intermediate level essential.
  • Must live in the Greater Margate / Port Shepstone area.
