Position Overview

As a careworker at Care4U, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients. You will work closely with clients to assist with daily activities and ensure their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  2. Assist with mobility and transfers.
  3. Administer medication as prescribed.
  4. Monitor and record vital signs.
  5. Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs.
  6. Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
  7. Maintain accurate care records.
  8. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  9. Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  10. Attend training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous caregiving experience preferred.
  • CNAs or HHA certification is a plus.
  • Patient and compassionate nature.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Physical stamina for lifting and transfers.
  • Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position, typically Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts. Work environments include client homes, healthcare facilities, and community settings.
