Property Manager Remote (UK Short-Stay Portfolio)

Location : Remote (work from the comfort of your home!)

Position Type : Full-Time

Working Hours : Monday Friday and may include some Saturdays

Salary : cir £800 / month (cir R20,000 / month)

About the Role

Are you an organised, proactive professional with a passion for property operations? Were looking for a Remote Property Manager to join our team and take the lead on guest communication, maintenance coordination, compliance, and quality assurance across a growing portfolio of properties in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Property Quality & Maintenance Oversight

  • Conduct and coordinate routine inspections of all managed properties.
  • Take action based on inspection results (maintenance, shopping lists, client follow-ups).
  • Manage maintenance needs with internal protocols and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain the Contractor CRM and Trello boards for up-to-date property records.
  • Review guest feedback and inspection results to continuously improve property standards.
  • Communicate property issues with internal teams and clients.

Team Management

  • Supervise the Maintenance Team Member and Property Manager Assistant.
  • Prioritise and schedule workloads.
  • Provide support, training, and performance feedback.
  • Maintain a solutions-focused leadership approach.

Cleaning Team Oversight

  • Manage cleaning teams across the portfolio.
  • Onboard new cleaning teams as required.
  • Conduct inspections and offer feedback to maintain cleaning quality.
  • Handle and resolve cleaning-related issues diplomatically.
  • Ensure cleaning teams are aligned with schedules and standards.

Compliance Management

  • Track and renew documentation in a timely manner.
  • Work with clients to gather and file all necessary documents.
  • Follow internal SOPs for compliance and seasonal preparation.

Client Relationship Management

  • Be the main point of contact for property owners.
  • Respond to queries via email, phone, and WhatsApp.
  • Host regular client meetings to discuss performance and improvements.
  • Communicate proactively on maintenance, compliance, and guest experience.
  • Take ownership of resolutions and escalate only when needed.
  • Oversee stock levels and deliveries of linen and consumables.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and ensure efficient use of stock.
  • Track spending and reduce unnecessary costs.

Property Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding of new properties : systems setup, shopping lists, deliveries, and readiness.
  • Ensure all offboarding steps are completed when a property leaves the portfolio.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in property management, hospitality, or operations (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working in a remote team environment.
  • Tech-savvy and confident using tools like Slack, Trello, and CRMs.
