Job Specification (not totally inclusive)
  1. Analysis of jobs for closure (WIP) and attending Manufacturing WIP meetings
  2. Address WIP challenges and report back to Business Unit managers on WIP status
  3. Analysis of jobs for sales results
  4. Reporting weekly income statement estimates to the USA
  5. Preparing month-end finance pack to distribute to the business
  6. Analysis of monthly sales margins and investigation of deviations from the norm
  7. Preparation of quarterly accounting packs for submission to US Corporate Accounting department
  8. Preparation of outlook and budget files (sales and costs) and upload into SAP
  9. Preparation and review of general ledger account reconciliations
  10. Participate in WIP stock count when required
  11. Preparing and circulating sales updates when required
  12. Month-end reconciliation preparation
Minimum Skills Required
  • Must have completed a B Com Hons degree in Accounting or Finance / PGDIP qualification
  • CGMA qualification would be an advantage
  • At least 4–5 years post-qualification experience in a similar role
  • SAP / R3 experience is required
  • Computer literate in MS Office suite (Advanced Excel)
  • Valid driver's license and own transport
