CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER / STELLENBOSCH (OFFSHORE INVESTMENTS)
Minimum Requirements :
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-5 years of progressively senior financial management experience.
- Extensive experience in overseeing financial operations in a diverse portfolio, including agricultural investments and international ventures.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders and senior executives.
- High level of initiative, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach, with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all financial operations within the division.
- Review, approve, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of IAS, BAS reports, and other statutory reporting requirements, ensuring timely submission to the Australian Taxation Office.
- Lead the process of importing and managing budgets, revised forecasts, and long-term financial plans into Xero, ensuring alignment with business objectives and accurate financial modeling.
- Lead the preparation, review, and finalization of the Annual Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Oversee tax computations, tax return preparations, and ensure adherence to local and international tax regulations, while managing all tax-related matters.
- Supervise the preparation, analysis, and review of monthly and quarterly management accounts, ensuring accurate reporting of financial performance.
- Prepare and present annual board meeting packs, financial reports, and related documentation, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems to support evolving business needs.
- Oversee the preparation and review of loan statements and schedules, maintaining focus on liquidity and cash flow management.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend identification to drive business performance.
- Provide financial insights and advice to the executive team, stakeholders, and investors.
- Ensure the efficient operation of the finance team.
