Our client, a reputable Retailer based in Cape Town is currently looking to appoint a Business Analyst to join their merchandising department on a 12 month contract . The main purpose of the role is looking after and ensuring that optimal business processes and underlying system functionality is developed in order to execute business strategy.

POSITION INFO :

Qualifications required :

• Degree in IT, procurement, supply chain or other related fields
• Any further studies in information systems is advantageous

Skills and experience required :

• 3 - 5 years’ experience within a systems / process or business analysis position
• Retail industry experience
• Buying or Merchandising experience
• Experience in and a proven track record of work on large complex projects as project / business analyst lead
• Problem-solving skills
• Discover and document business processes to enable continuous improvement
• Manage and determine business requirements to enable processes through systems
• Document Test Cases to enable thorough testing of system configuration
• Training and knowledge transfer
• Project Management
• Testing and validating system configuration
• Governing business processes and SOP’s
