Reporting to the Regional Director, and matrixed to Director, Resource Mobilization, the Regional Advisor oversees the resource mobilization portfolio.
He / she has the following key responsibilities:
Ensure robust implementation and reporting on funded programmes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
Essential: Advanced university degree at Master´s level or equivalent in international relations, public affairs, communications, political or social sciences or another field related to the responsibilities.

Essential: At least seven years' work experience in / with bilateral or multilateral development organizations, including in external / donor relations, negotiation, innovative partnerships development and major funding initiatives with donors and / or governments.
Languages:
Essential: Proficiency in English.
Desirable: Knowledge of additional UN official languages.
Positions at the international professional category within UNAIDS will be subject to the Organization's Mobility Policy. The abovementioned position is a rotational position, and its standard duration of assignment is linked to the ICSC hardship classification of the duty station.
Annual salary: (Net of tax)
USD 77,326 at single rate
