General Summary :

The Oral & Fem Care Group Marketing Manager, AMET (Africa, Middle East, and Turkey), is responsible for driving growth for Fem Care (Stayfree, Carefree) and Oral Care (Listerine) brands in the cluster, reporting to the Head of Marketing Essential Health AMET. You will collaborate closely with regional (EMEA) and global marketing teams, as well as AMET commercial teams.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Brand Strategy Implementation and Execution Planning

  • Full accountability for delivering year NTS, GP & share targets and shaping the Y2-Y3 plans.
  • Partner with senior management, lead-markets, and cross-functional teams to create robust End-to-End plans for the cluster.
  • Conduct business reviews with markets to identify new opportunities and revise plans as necessary.
  • Monitor market, brand performance, competitors, trends, and consumer insights to understand key drivers behind share and sales performance, informing strategies and tactics.
  • Lead the 3YOP Plan for Neutrogena and Aveeno.
  • Work closely with EMEA squads to align on pipeline development, NPDs, NPIs, commercial innovations, and content/claims development for the cluster.
  • Lead and implement the E2E portfolio management, pricing, promotion, and communication strategies across the cluster.

Deploying regional/global communication strategy

  • Lead communication planning for the cluster (priorities, calendar, media strategy).
  • Provide input to regional and global teams for content development needs.
  • Adapt regional/global campaigns, partnering with agencies to amplify campaigns across the cluster.
  • Act as brand equity guardian for the cluster, ensuring consistency across all markets.
  • Collaborate with local Brand Activation and healthcare professional teams.

Deploying new products (portfolio extensions, brand expansion to new markets)

  • Use local market knowledge to provide cluster inputs on trade, regulatory requirements, and future innovations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to bring regional/global innovations into AMET (SC, RA, Finance, gatekeeping).
  • Assess potential of new products and develop business cases.
  • Leverage regional/global launch toolkits, adapting them to the cluster reality in partnership with other functions.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with progressive leadership roles and a strong track record of business results.
  • Strong experience in FMCG brand management.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, developing innovative solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive decisions.

Experience in both brand strategy and market execution is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build relationships with stakeholders. Experience in developing regional (multi-country) plans, leading successful marketing strategies, and managing teams is also necessary. Fluency in English (native or fluent) is required. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s or MBA is a plus.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization is advantageous.
  • Experience in regional and local roles, especially in personal care markets, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the personal care market in Middle East and/or Africa is a plus.
