Job description

SUMMARY

Develop and execute sales and marketing programs for The Hotels, Resorts, and Spa's, focused on generating leads, website traffic, direct inquiries, and emails. Monitor and provide feedback on sales and marketing campaigns. Manage and optimize the website.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS: Matric Certificate. Qualification in Sales and Marketing or Hospitality and Tourism is preferred but not essential.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with Opera or other property management systems is advantageous
  • Experience in sales to maximize revenue
  • 2-3 years in a similar role
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs
  • 5+ years of MICE Sales experience
  • 5+ years of B2C sales experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Knowledge

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all properties, policies, sub-brands, and special rates

  • Understand customer profiles and target marketing efforts
  • Promote products and services effectively
  • Build relationships with key accounts for mutual growth

Marketing

  • Develop and implement marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Manage and update websites regularly
  • Participate in trade shows and promotional events
  • Coordinate with creative agencies
  • Manage promotional materials and campaigns across various channels
  • Analyze sales data and market trends
  • Promote memberships and facilities

Hotel, Resort, and Spa Specific

  • Establish annual events calendar
  • Respond to guest reviews professionally
  • Manage social media for the VNL brand
  • Conduct site inspections

Presence during key events/functions is expected. Duties may evolve with business needs.
