Community Action Team (CAT) Program

Position Overview

The primary duty involves performing work requiring advanced knowledge (Master's Degree) in Human Services, exercising discretion and independent judgment to provide high-quality client-centered therapeutic services.

The role includes serving as a mentor and consultant to less experienced staff, ensuring compliance with laws and standards, and serving as a lead in direct care services.

Therapeutic services encompass assessment, treatment planning, direct service, person-centered care, and risk management.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation, or related field
  • Minimum two years' experience working with children over 5 with mental health, substance abuse, or developmental disabilities
  • Preferred certification as an Addiction Professional (Florida Certification Board)
  • Ability to provide individualized mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring services
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client locations
  • Pass organization screening, including background checks
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record
Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $49,000 to $52,000, based on experience.
