SUMMARY :

Our dynamic client in the MSP sector requires an IT Engineer, Westrand

POSITION INFO :

We are looking for a skilled IT Technician / Server Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the following areas :

1. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Admin Centre and Microsoft 365 SharePoint.

2. Windows Servers Setup, Maintenance & Support.

3. Conducting Email Migrations.

4. Offering Desktop Support.

5. Networking Setup, Maintenance & Administration.

The ideal candidate should also have advanced skills (3+ years of experience) in :

6. Cloud Architecture, particularly in Azure.

7. Managing Cloud hosted servers.

8. Performing Hosted Backup.

9. Patch Management / RMM Management.

10. ESET Setup and Maintenance.

Furthermore, the candidate must be proficient (2+ years of experience) in :

11. Firewall Setup and Maintenance, preferably with Sophos.

12. PABX Setup and Maintenance.

As an IT Technician / Server Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our technical infrastructure, driving optimal performance and availability. You will work closely with the IT team to respond to tickets, troubleshoot issues and execute on system improvements and upgrades. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential for this role.

Salary : R 20 000 - R 40 000
