A leading company in the sports broadcasting sector is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and develop strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales, particularly in African markets, and possess strong leadership skills. This role involves analyzing market trends, developing pricing strategies, and managing a sales team to achieve targets.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and sales opportunities.
Develop sales pitches and presentations that effectively communicate SuperSport Schools' value proposition.
Track sales metrics and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Increase Revenue Streams
Conduct market research to identify new revenue streams and product offerings.
Develop pricing strategies that optimize profitability without sacrificing customer satisfaction.
Monitor sales metrics and adjust sales and marketing strategies as needed to achieve revenue targets.
Develop and Manage Partnerships
Identify potential partners and evaluate the benefits and risks of partnerships.
Negotiate partnership agreements and develop plans to achieve partnership objectives.
Work with partners to develop joint marketing campaigns and promotions.
Develop and manage budgets, including revenue and expense forecasts.
Analyze financial data and identify areas for cost-saving measures.
Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability.
Provide Leadership and Support to Sales Team
Set sales targets and performance metrics for the sales team.
Provide ongoing training and coaching to improve sales skills and knowledge.
Work with other departments to ensure that the sales team has the resources and support they need to succeed.
Qualifications
Relevant Business Post Graduate Qualification.
Experience
A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in commercials and acquisition.
Experience in African country markets; comfortable managing direct lines remotely (advantageous).
Detailed commercial and financial acumen balanced with creative flair.
Experience in Sales, Retail, or Business Development roles.
