Our client is looking for a HR Generalist with a strong IR focus to be based in East London

Purpose of the position : Reporting to the HR Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for HR functions, with a strong focus on IR matters (from IR Admin to CCMA cases)

Industrial Relations Responsibilities :

  • Handling employee grievances and disputes.
  • Mediating conflicts between employees or between employees and management.
  • Advising on company policies and procedures related to employee conduct and welfare.
  • Supporting and promoting positive employer-employee relations to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
  • Negotiating collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) between management and labour unions.Ensuring compliance with labour laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Handling disputes related to labour practices, wages, working conditions, and benefits
  • Representing the organization in discussions with labour unions or regulatory bodies.
  • Providing guidance on labour relations strategies to align with organizational goals

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Driver's License
  • IR experience including CCMA level experience
