Purpose of the job : Responsible for providing specialist technical leadership in remuneration and HR Information systems.
In addition, takes the lead for planning, project coordination, management, and support in developing a cost-effective human resources information system (HRIS) and remuneration practices while concurrently facilitating efficient operations to meet current and future business needs within the HR organization.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Compensation and Benefit Management
- Conduct salary studies and market analysis to gain insights into common market practices.
- Develop salary ranges and coordinate approval processes through the leadership of the Head of Talent & Culture.
- Champion the job evaluation process and maintenance of job profile data to ensure internal parity and equitable pay.
- Lead the research, development, and implementation of Integrated Total Reward systems.
- Provide training and leadership on HR systems, supporting the business community in navigating the SAGE People system to access organizational structures, statistical reports, and update personnel details.
- Offer user and technical support on all HR systems (Learner Management System, Performance Management, Talent, iRecruit, Job Management, etc.).
- Provide user training across the organization to enable effective system use and understanding of security protocols.
- Maintain HR Systems by creating, maintaining, and restructuring positions as needed, especially during organizational changes.
- Update and maintain information on Performance and Talent Management modules.
- Troubleshoot and validate data on HR People Modules to ensure data integrity and accurate management reporting.
- Identify operational system weaknesses and recommend improvements.
- Conduct user needs analysis, liaise with developers and stakeholders, and oversee testing and implementation of systems.
Consulting and Project Management
Manage HRIS and Remuneration projects, providing high-level consulting to system users, proposing software development solutions, and supporting project managers with technical and user support.

REQUIRED MINIMUM AND ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree (NQF 7) in Behavioural Science, BCom, or equivalent.
- At least five years of IT systems experience, including a minimum of 2 years in HR systems and 3 years in Compensation.
- Two years of experience managing HRIS.
- Two years' experience within compensation, benefits, and job evaluation is an advantage.
- SARA Certification and Job Evaluation Certification are advantageous.
