Requirements
  • Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles within industrial/manufacturing environments.

  • At least 2–4 years in a similar managerial or leadership role.

  • Proven experience with boilers, steam systems, power generation equipment, and stock control.

  • Competency in CMMS and understanding of preventative maintenance frameworks.

  • Knowledge of General Machinery Regulations is advantageous.

  • Strong understanding of power plant operations, maintenance risks, and regulatory compliance.

  • Solid grasp of SHERQ management systems, occupational health, and industrial safety practices.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

  • Skilled in negotiation, project management, and performance optimisation.

  • Proficient in risk assessment, report writing, and maintenance auditing.

  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.

  • Proactive and responsive to emergency maintenance situations.
