Who We Are Looking For

Crisis24 seeks an Intelligence Analyst to join the Health team within the Global Intelligence Division.

The role is office-based in Cape Town.

The analyst must be skilled in analyzing and interpreting public health data, open-source research, and writing for a professional audience.

A strong background in health-related topics and willingness to learn data analytical tools are essential.

The analyst will provide timely, accurate intelligence to Crisis24 clients through brief tactical alerts, in-depth assessments, client-specific requests, and periodic reports.

The role also involves supporting internal departments across GardaWorld.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, works well independently and in teams, remains composed under pressure, and has high-quality communication skills.

What You Will Work On

Monitoring health-related events using various sources, including media and networks, assessing threats like disease outbreaks, medication availability, vaccination requirements, and drug restrictions.

Analyzing health events to determine business impact; writing concise briefings and advice on threat mitigation.

Assisting global Medical Operations teams with medical advice and threat assessments.

Supporting the enhancement of medical information on Crisis24's Horizon platform.

Collaborating with Medical Operations to facilitate client travel planning and preparedness.

Responding to internal health-related inquiries within GardaWorld.

Creating bespoke health threat assessments for clients.

Contributing articles to Crisis24's Health Intelligence Monitor on location-specific impacts.

Maintaining and improving team procedures and suggesting topics for special reports.

Researching and updating the Horizon location database for accuracy and usefulness.

What You Will Bring

Bachelor's degree in health / medical field; Master's preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Proficiency with MS Office.

Flexibility and adaptability to changing procedures.

Ability to work independently and in teams.

Ability to pass pre-employment background checks.

Legal right to work in South Africa without restrictions or sponsorship.

Additional Information

Protect data and systems by following policies, reporting incidents, completing training, and suggesting improvements.
