Econofoods, a leading FMCG retail company, invites unemployed South African youth to apply for its Retail and Meat Processing Learnership Programmes starting in August 2025.

Monthly Stipend: R3000 – R4000

1. Retail Learnership Programme (Gauteng, Free State, Eastern Cape)

• Reference Number: LearnProg2Retail.06.2025
• Duration: 12 Months
• Monthly Stipend: R4000
• Location: Germiston (The Reef), and other stores in Gauteng, Free State, and Eastern Cape

2. Meat Processing Learnership Programme (Free State)

• Reference Number: TMFLearnership.July 2025
• Duration: 12 Months
• Monthly Stipend: R3000
• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
• Not enrolled in any study programme or pending graduation
• Must be willing to work retail hours (for retail applicants)
• Must reside in Gauteng, Free State, or Eastern Cape
• Willing to commit to the full 12-month learnership
• Available to start on 01 August 2025

Required Documents (Certified, not older than 6 months)

• Updated CV/Resume
• Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate
• Certified copy of ID (both sides of the ID card)
