What You'll Do:

As an Ecommerce Account Manager at V8 Media, you'll take full ownership of client accounts, steering them toward success with a hands-on approach. This role is dynamic and multifaceted—here's what you'll be responsible for:

  1. Communications: Act as the key liaison for clients, delivering clear, proactive, and professional updates to build trust and alignment.
  2. Paid Campaigns: Take charge of the entire paid advertising lifecycle to maximize client visibility and ROI.
  3. Research Competitors: Analyze competitor strategies, ad creatives, and performance to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
  4. Set Up Marketing Platform Assets: Configure and optimize platform tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads) by creating pixel integrations, audience segments, and product catalogs.
  5. Set Up Campaigns and Ads: Design, build, and launch high-performing campaigns and ad sets tailored to client goals, from awareness to conversion.
  6. Monitor and Optimize: Track campaign performance in real-time, tweaking budgets, bids, targeting, and creatives to boost conversions and efficiency.
  7. Client Billing: Oversee invoicing, budgeting, and financial tracking with accuracy and transparency to keep accounts running smoothly.
  8. Reporting: Provide in-depth performance reports, leveraging ecommerce metrics (e.g., ROAS, CTR, AOV) to showcase results and guide strategic decisions.
  9. Portfolio Management: Juggle a diverse portfolio of ecommerce accounts across platforms and marketplaces, ensuring seamless operations and consistent growth.
  10. Revenue Growth: Drive sales performance by optimizing conversion rates, identifying upsell opportunities, and implementing data-driven tactics.
  11. Strategic Planning: Craft and execute growth strategies—think product launches, seasonal promotions, and market expansions—customized to each client's vision.

You'll work with leading ecommerce platforms and marketplace integrations, bringing your expertise to a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Who You Are: The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a proactive, analytical, and client-focused individual who's ready to make an impact. Here's what we're seeking:

  1. Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience managing ecommerce accounts or online retail operations.
  2. Skills: Strong command of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Google Ads) and marketplace integrations (e.g., Amazon, Takealot).
  3. Expertise: In digital marketing, with a focus on paid advertising—including Meta Ad campaign management, competitor research, and ad setup.
  4. Analytics: Proficient in data analysis and performance reporting, using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or similar to track ecommerce KPIs.
  5. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, excelling in client relationship management and collaboration with internal teams.
  6. Mindset: A detail-oriented strategist who thrives on solving problems and driving tangible growth for online businesses.

Salary Range

This position falls into a R17,000 to R22,000 CTC (Cost To Company) depending on skills and experience of the candidate.
