A leading company in the industrial sector is seeking a highly skilled ECM Technician to take charge of the Equipment Condition Monitoring (ECM) process. This is a prime opportunity for an experienced professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for precision to play a critical role in operational efficiency and plant health.

In this role, the ECM Technician will manage and sustain all ECM data within a centralised electronic database, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis to support maintenance decision-making. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong technical capabilities, excellent human relations skills, and a solid understanding of ISO systems.

Key Responsibilities Include :

• Overseeing and maintaining ECM databases and reporting systems
• Reporting on plant health conditions and following up on feedback
• Defining and sustaining ECM work processes
• Supporting human relations efforts such as employee development discussions and performance evaluations
• Contributing to SHEQ objectives through ISO 45001 implementation

What You’ll Need to Succeed :

• Matric with Maths and Science
• A recognised Diploma / Degree and Red Seal Trade Certificate
• Certified Category 3 or 4 in Equipment Condition Monitoring
• Proficiency in ECM software (vibration monitoring, thermal camera, ultrasonic)
• Six Sigma Green Belt (advantageous)
• 5-10 years experience in a maintenance environment as an ECM Technician (Category 2)
• Previous hands-on artisan trade experience
