Job description

ENVIRONMENT : A Durban-based Financial Services company seeks a highly motivated, results-driven Sales Executive to take the brand to market, spearhead strategic marketing and sales initiatives, and drive business growth.

You will develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the company's new debt collections software and call center solutions, lead contract negotiations, and track and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and efficient lead conversion.

The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree or similar qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, with proven sales leadership experience (5+ years) in debt collections software, call center technology, or similar IT software solutions. They should have a track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive B2B sales targets, including sales to South African municipalities, and hands-on experience with CRM systems (Bitrix preferred), Lead Generation tools, and Digital Marketing techniques.

DUTIES :
  1. Business Development & Sales Strategy
  2. Generate high-quality leads through networking, strategic outreach, and Digital Marketing campaigns.
  3. Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities for debt recovery software within the private sector, municipalities, and financial institutions.
  4. Drive direct sales efforts, including cold calling, prospecting, and customer engagement.
  5. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Brand Awareness & Marketing Leadership

  1. Lead marketing initiatives to position the company and its products as industry leaders.
  2. Develop and implement branding, advertising, and content strategies to support sales efforts.
  3. Collaborate with marketing and leadership to create compelling product messaging and positioning.
  4. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to enhance visibility and engagement.

Client Relationship Management

  1. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  2. Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients maximize the value of the company's solutions.
  3. Oversee client onboarding, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.
  4. Gather market insights and customer feedback to inform product enhancements.

Sales Administration & CRM Management

  1. Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and client interactions in Bitrix CRM.
  2. Track and manage the sales pipeline for timely follow-ups and lead conversion.
  3. Generate sales performance reports for decision-making.
  4. Coordinate with internal teams to streamline sales operations.

Partnerships & Negotiation

  1. Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships.
  2. Lead contract negotiations for mutually beneficial agreements.
  3. Work with internal teams on sales processes, pricing, and service delivery.
REQUIREMENTS :
  • Qualifications – Bachelor's Degree or similar in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience / Skills – Proven sales leadership (5+ years) in relevant IT solutions, track record of exceeding B2B sales targets, experience with CRM (Bitrix preferred), Lead Generation, and Digital Marketing.
