An exciting opportunity has become available within the medical device industry for a Manufacturing Technician based in Cape Town.

REQUIREMENTS : Matric

0-2 years experience in medical devices manufacturing

Interpersonal skills

Strong time management skills and the ability to work under a deadline

Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities:

  1. Support and improve the production process through device assembly
  2. Execute assembly of components with precision to ensure a workable product
  3. Develop mastery on the equipment and production process
  4. Execute and coordinate equipment process and product validation activities
  5. Adhere to production process protocol, work instructions, and process improvement changes
  6. Perform work in a safe manner, notifying management of safety issues and risks

Maintenance:

  1. Conduct/assist with equipment calibration
  2. Maintain a clean room environment according to regulatory requirements
  3. Meet and maintain training requirements
  4. Maintain proper documentation for quality and compliance matters
